In an annoucement on their website, Banca d'Italia SL states that they are suspending their activities as a bank.

It seems that several of their accounts were charged very high sums from Linden Lab (probably 150% as stated by LL TOS) and others were suspended because of suspected activities (bought Lindens from online auctions sites).

On the announcement they promise to refund their customers, if the situation with Linden Lab will not be cleared soon, allowing them to log in Second Life again, even if they will probably not be able to refund 100% of customers money.

Banca d'Italia remains halted, and we want to remind our customers that all issued certificates are valid.
